Oracle EBS Developer (Quincy, IL)
  • Pay Rate: $85/hour
  • Shift : 8a-5p, M-F
  • Temporary Contract position with Raise with potential for perm hire with ADM
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.

Job Summary:
  • Will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting customizations and extensions within the Oracle EBS platform.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle EBS modules, database architecture, and programming languages to deliver efficient and scalable solutions aligned with business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Development and Customization:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Oracle EBS applications, reports, forms, and interfaces.
  • Create and modify PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions to support business requirements.
  • Develop and customize Oracle Workflow processes and Concurrent Programs.

System Integration:
  • Build and maintain integrations between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems using APIs, Web Services, or other technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across systems.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Identify and resolve technical issues within Oracle EBS modules.
  • Provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions for system defects or performance bottlenecks.

Upgrades and Enhancements:
  • Participate in Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for new features or enhancements.

Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and team members as needed.

Compliance and Best Practices:
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and Oracle best practices.
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle EBS Developer (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS, or others.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Workflow Builder.
  • Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and XML Publisher.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS architecture, APIs, and table structures.
  • Experience with system integrations and data migration tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Job Qualifications:
  • Experience with Oracle EBS applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle BI tools or other reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other software development methodologies.
  • Oracle EBS certification is a plus.
