Software Engineer (CI/CD - Unreal Engine)
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Developer Integrations team. In this role, you will help build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and automation for our Meta XR Fork of the Unreal Engine.
You will be responsible for:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automation systems to support Unreal Engine development, ensuring high performance and reliability for XR features.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated build systems for multiple Unreal Engine releases.
Investigate and resolve critical CI/CD issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Ensure CI/CD pipelines adhere to current best practices and are continuously improved.
Optimize Unreal Engine build times and streamline build processes.
Enhance on-device testing and performance automation for XR headsets.
Implement and maintain unit test automation frameworks.
Build and maintain dashboards and monitoring tools for build and automation systems.
Update and maintain internal documentation and wikis related to build practices.
Design and implement robust tests for sensitive performance metrics.
Debug and resolve issues across the build and automation stack.
Stretch work: Help to prepare Meta Modified Unreal Engine Integration and Releases.
Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience with the native build process C/C++
Experience with performance testing and automation is a plus.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95.00 - $95.00/hr.
