Job Details

Title: Apigee Platform Architect
Location: Reading, PA
Duration: 6+ Months

1. Hands-on Apigee API Management: o Extensive hands-on experience with Apigee API Gateway, managing API proxies, routing, and implementing traffic management features like rate-limiting*** quotas, and caching to enhance performance. o Expertise in hands-on API proxy development using Apigee Edge and Apigee Hybrid, handling transformations, traffic management, and implementing custom logic for optimized API workflows.

2. Apigee Security and Policy Management: o Hands-on implementation of security protocols in Apigee, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Key validation, ensuring secure API transactions. o Proficient in configuring and managing Apigee policies for access control, request/response transformations, logging, and API mediation to enhance security and control.

3. Apigee Analytics and Monitoring: o Strong experience in hands-on monitoring of APIs through Apigee Analytics, using key metrics such as latency, response times, and error rates to maintain optimal API functionality. o Proficient in using Apigee s trace tools for real-time debugging and performance tuning to quickly resolve issues and bottlenecks.

4. Apigee Lifecycle Management: o Practical experience in managing the full API lifecycle on Apigee Edge, from hands-on API proxy design and testing to deployment and version management. o Proficiency in Apigee Hybrid, handling both on-premise and cloud-based environments for flexible API management strategies.
