Position: Guardium Engineer


Location: Addison, TX


Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr.


Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)



About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Guardium Engineer to join our dynamic security team in Addison, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering and supporting Guardium environments, with strong troubleshooting abilities and a proactive mindset toward maintaining data security and compliance.


Must Haves:



  • Proven experience administering and supporting Guardium environments (v12 preferred)

  • Hands-on expertise with Guardium GIM and STAP deployment, configuration, and issue resolution

  • Proficiency in digital certificate operations, including renewals and updates

  • Experience in applying software/security updates to Guardium appliances and agents

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with Business Activity Monitor and security frameworks (preferred but not required)


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:



  • Manage and maintain the Guardium v12 environment, ensuring optimal uptime and performance

  • Deploy and configure GIM/STAP components across various platforms

  • Troubleshoot agent connectivity and operational issues

  • Perform certificate management tasks, including timely renewals and updates

  • Apply patches and software updates to Guardium appliances and agents to meet compliance standards

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and compliance teams for continuous improvement
