Position: Excel Modeling Specialist

Location: New York, NY (On-site)

Duration: 6+ Month

• We are seeking a highly skilled Excel expert to join our team onsite in New York City. This role is ideal for someone based in the Tri-State area who thrives in a collaborative, business-facing environment. The primary responsibility will be to support a Property project by building and managing complex Excel models for allocations and billing.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
• Work closely with business stakeholders onsite in NYC to understand project requirements and translate them into robust Excel models.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Integrate and manipulate data from multiple Excel sources to support financial modeling and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in data handling and outputs.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
  
  
• Required Qualifications:
  
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data manipulation, and macro/VBA scripting.
• Experience in building financial or operational models from scratch.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business users.
  
• Background in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry and related terminology.
• Prior experience working on property-related projects or billing systems.
