Akkodis is seeking a Battery Validation Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in battery validation, testing, and calibration for BEV/PHEV powertrains.
Rate Range: $36.75/hour to $41.75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Battery Validation Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Coordinate BEV/PHEV validation activities and follow up with SIPOC partners for input data.
- Validate ePWT-related functions at the battery pack level using test benches.
- Lead and adapt test procedures, instrumentation phases, and BMS calibration updates.
- Conduct outsourced and on-site testing, post-process data, and report deliverables.
- Collaborate with validation engineers on test plans, component conception, and justification.
- Create and adjust test campaigns with suppliers to monitor and resolve technical issues.
- Analyze test data, report incidents, and ensure proper documentation and communication.
Desired Qualifications:
- BTS (Advanced Technician Diploma) or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in battery systems, calibration, and validation.
- Proficiency in software and tools such as CRETA, INCA, APOGEE, OPTISIM.
- Strong technical summary and communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Accreditation in electrical standards and test driving.
- Bachelor's Degree.
