Job Details

Our client is seeking a Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Irving, TX or Enon, OH. This will be a hybrid role with 2 days onsite.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) required. Please attach certification with resume.
  • Program management experience and knowledge of concepts and practices.
  • 10+ years of IT Project management experience
  • 5+ years of IT Network or Network Security Project management
  • Experience in leading SD_WAN conversions for large (1000+ site) retail network projects is a MUST.
  • Ability to lead, manage, coordinate, plan and deliver projects on-time, on-budget, on-scope with high quality.
  • Experience managing vendor contract deliverables to ensure they are met and accepted.
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems and technology organizations.
  • Experience developing and managing software, hardware, and services contracts.


What You Will Be Doing
  • Manages the day-to-day aspects of a project(s) to deliver high-quality, on time, on budget outcomes within the project scope.
  • Coordinates the identification and planning of all project work streams, including working with network service providers and internal business units to plan work product schedules, identify key milestones, manage dependencies, identify, track, and manage risks/issues/decisions, and report on project progress.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders and product owners to educate organizations to use a variety of approaches to deliver customer value in both business and IT teams.
  • Provide feedback to management at all levels regarding the progress of projects.
  • Identifies, executes, and updates project timelines, tasks/responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Works with project team to identify project risks and mitigation plans, resolve issues, and eliminate project challenges.
  • Coordinates and responds to project changes, including escalating project issues and decisions as needed.
  • Provides strong leadership capabilities to lead and direct cross-functional teams and supplier partners, leading team decision-making processes, and cultivating an environment of healthy team debate and collaboration.
  • Ability to build project plans for Agile and Waterfall methodologies to align with infrastructure resources.
