Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, modern application deployment, security, and infrastructure best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption, ensure scalability, and align solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures for applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including migration of workloads to Azure.
• Establish and govern Azure best practices related to security, networking, identity, cost management, and automation.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement Azure services and tools based on project and enterprise needs.
• Create architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on containerization, microservices, and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT with 6+ years specifically in Azure architecture.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Azure services such as:
• Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Storage, SQL Database, Cosmos DB
• Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, and access management (IAM).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent certifications).
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises integration using Azure Arc or ExpressRoute.
• Background in enterprise IT environments and compliance-heavy industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with multi-cloud or cloud governance platforms (e.g., Azure Lighthouse, Cloud Adoption Framework).
