Database Architect (C2C requirement)

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of complex applications and databases in cloud and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in database architecture, secure application design, and cloud-native solutions, with the ability to guide teams and deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable software systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform application development tasks including researching and documenting technical designs, developing programming solutions, writing and executing unit test plans, and resolving defects.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and provide customer technical support as required.
• Review business requirement documents with technical managers to ensure accurate translation into technical designs.
• Implement systems and program designs to meet highly complex business and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for work assignments including program code, technical specifications, and system design documents.
• Assist technical managers in preparing time estimates and work breakdowns for assigned tasks.
• Provide technical guidance to software development teams in coding, testing, debugging, and implementing highly complex programs.
• Develop comprehensive test plans to validate logic, performance, and security of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex end-user technical issues, ensuring root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
• Manage release processes including technical steps to promote, test, and deploy solutions through the development lifecycle, in coordination with infrastructure teams.
• Apply iterative and agile software development lifecycle methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Experience: -

Expert Level (7+ years)

• Proven ability to provide guidance to large teams and deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
• Extensive experience in database/schema architecture, SQL coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging.
• Expertise in secure database architecture, including security APIs, transport/message layer security, encryption/decryption algorithms, PL/SQL, normalization, and database optimization.

Advanced Level (4+ years)

• Strong experience in application deployment and monitoring systems, as well as database monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with database applications including triggers, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or hybrid infrastructure).
• Knowledge of cloud-native database design, including containerization, API-first development, server less, and micro services architectures.

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master s degree preferred).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, TOGAF, or similar) are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated track record of leading software architecture and development projects in enterprise environments.
