Job Title- Field Service Technician I
Location- Dallas, TX 75232/Fort Worth, TX 76135/San Antonio TX 78235/Houston, TX 77013/Brownsville TX 78501 Duration- 3 months (Temp to hire)
Shift- M-F 9-6 - 1hr lunch
Job Description:
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

- Is this position remote or in person? Runs cases in the field out of their home
- What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? Field Dispatch cases repairing printers and repairing other equipment
- What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Must have printer repair experience, must be self-driven and organized
- What will the work schedule be for this position? M-F 9-6 1hr lunch
- Will there be OC (on call)? Yes they will be added to an on call schedule once they are up and running cases on their own
- Will there be shift differentials? They get paid for being on call outside of regular pay
- How many overall years of experience should this person have? At least a year of printer repair experience and some field dispatch experience
- Do they need any specific certifications or education? A+ would be nice but not needed at the beginning
- How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Anywhere from 50 miles a day to 150 miles a day
- What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? Coverage area is usually 50 mile radius from where they live
- How soon will the candidate review and interviews start? ASAP
- Do you have upcoming vacations or time out of the office? No
