**LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED, In-state (within California state is acceptable). The role is Hybrid. Can be Rocklin, OGO, San Ramon.

About the Role
The Observability Product Owner will support the Product Management function for their respective domain; this role will be supporting Application & Infrastructure. The Product Owner will be responsible for interacting with our Application Teams to understand and develop the Business KPIs that will be monitored in the Observability Solutions utilized.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Product Manager in shaping strategic, IT & OT Observability programs and planning.
2. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Product Manager in shaping strategic, infrastructure technology programs and planning.
3. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Product Manager in development and maintenance of Strategic Roadmaps for observability and Monitoring.
4. Identify opportunities for integration of 3rd party systems into client Observability Platform for enhanced Observability & Situational Awareness.
5. Collaborates with Strategic Vendors on client strategic roadmap to ensure ability to meet clients Monitoring & Observability requirements are supported by their solutions.
6. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of observability and monitoring principles
7. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in observability and monitoring
8. Collaborates with Major Program Dependency Office to ensure monitoring & observability a part of each program and project.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize monitoring needs.
10. Identify and mitigate risks of introducing technology enhancements, ensures that IT project teams comply with IT Governance policies and procedures..
11. Develop proof of concepts and prototypes.
12. Collaborates with the Monitoring & Observability Product Specialist on Architecture, Design, Proof of Concepts/Prototypes, and Tactical Roadmaps.
13. Works with Monitoring & Observability Delivery and Operations Teams to ensure that strategic requirements are accounted for in the tactical delivery and operations.
Skills:
Minimum of 12+ years of technical experience, with at least 7+ years experience in Monitoring & Observability domain.
7+ years experience in Infrastructure Observability domain.
7+ years experience in Application Observability domain.
Experience with integrating 3rd party solutions into Monitoring & Observability platforms.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools and technologies.
Experience with Server and Storage Infrastructure monitoring.
Experience in developing Business Level KPIs.
