UX Researcher (Retail industry)
REMOTE (Must reside in MST, PST, or CST time zone) We are looking for a Mid-Level UX Researcher who will help drive consumer understanding through fact-based analyses and insights to strengthen the eCommerce business. Your work will raise the UX bar across multiple platforms and help define the shopping experience on the websites and native apps for one of the most iconic brands in the world. You will support the Product Management & UX Design teams to ensure the voice of consumers informs discovery, development, optimization, and analysis of digital and Omni channel experiences. Your work will help us better understand our consumers and put their needs at the center of our design process. As a UX Researcher you will:

  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX Design, and other teams
  • Work across a variety of research methodologies and platforms (qualitative and quantitative across site & app)
  • Plan, design and conduct user research studies focused on understanding and improving the user experience
  • Uncover and deliver clear and actionable insights
  • Present and communicate insights
  • Partner with our product team to understand the roadmap and guide how to support product development with insights best
  • Evangelize UX & UI best practices to our partners and stakeholders
  • Effectively manage your research projects
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and dynamic design culture


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a UX research role
  • Deep knowledge of different research methodologies and tools
  • Experience with: generative research, usability testing, 1:1 user interviews, concept testing, survey development, competitive analysis, discovery, and design thinking.
  • Proven track record delivering impactful/actionable insights
  • Ability to build and nurture cross-functional relationships
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A strong bias toward action
  • Hands-on experience with feedback platforms & tools such as Qualtrics, usertesting.com, or an equivalent
  • Degree in Product innovation, Human Factors, Human-computer Interaction, Market Research, or a related field
