Java Backend Developer (12+ yrs experience Mandatory)

Role: Java Backend Developer

Duration: Contract

Location: Plano, TX(Day 1 Onsite)

Primary Skillset:

• Java with J2EE, Spring Boot
• Camel / Mulesoft, Akka with CQRS Event Sourcing
• Microservices
• Other Design patterns
• Hibernate / ORM tools
• Maven / Gradle
• REST APIs (Producing / Consuming)
• PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle
• Jenkins / any CICD
• AWS EC2, ECS, ALB, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, CI/CD, SQS, SNS, Lambda etc

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain software components and features using Java, J2EE, Spring, Camel, and Akka.
• Implement and maintain Akka actors and message-driven architecture to build concurrent and fault-tolerant systems.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing with jUnit to ensure the quality and performance of the developed software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development projects.
• Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient Java applications and web services. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications using Java, Spring and optionally AWS.
• Ensure to participate in code reviews, code refactoring techniques.
• Very Good problem-solving skills.
• Able to audit the CICD builds and take care of security / vulnerability issues.
• Performance oriented approach.
• Ability to write common components which can be used by other teams.
• Should be Self-Driven and learn new Technologies.
