Job Summary

The Cloud Security Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and practices to protect our cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with IT, DevOps, and development teams to ensure the security of cloud-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud security architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across all cloud platforms.
  • Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor cloud environments for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage and optimize security tools and solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Develop and deliver cloud security training and awareness programs for staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security.
  • Extensive experience securing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, CASB, DLP, and IAM.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or equivalent.
