About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead large-scale data migration projects between ECW (eClinicalWorks) and Athena. This role requires a strong mix of business analysis, product leadership, and vendor management skills to ensure smooth execution of migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will not necessarily be highly technical but must possess a solid understanding of database technologies to effectively challenge vendors, coordinate teams, and drive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end data migration efforts from ECW to Athena, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and minimal disruption.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, offshore teams, and robotics teams.
  • Provide product leadership by defining requirements, validating migration strategies, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage multiple project components simultaneously, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met.
  • Challenge and validate vendor solutions using a working knowledge of database technology and migration best practices.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure seamless communication across all teams involved.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of ECW and Athena, with proven experience leading complex, large-scale data migrations between the two platforms.
  • Strong business analyst background with experience gathering requirements, defining workflows, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated product leadership experience in driving healthcare technology initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage offshore delivery teams, robotics process automation (RPA) initiatives, and third-party vendor coordination.
  • Working knowledge of database technologies sufficient to evaluate, question, and guide vendor solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
