We are seeking an experienced ETL DataStage Consultant to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. The consultant will work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data pipelines and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ETL specifications.

  • Optimize ETL performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve data inconsistencies.

  • Develop and maintain data integration workflows for data warehouse and reporting needs.

  • Collaborate with data architects to design scalable and efficient ETL solutions.

  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes.

< data-start="1227" data-end="1263">Required Skills & Experience:</>

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage (parallel jobs, server jobs, sequences).

  • Strong expertise in ETL design, development, and performance tuning.

  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration best practices.

  • Experience in scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or equivalent).

  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux shell scripting.

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

  • Experience with cloud-based ETL integration (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira).

  • Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
