Please note, this is a hybrid position requiring 8 days per month on-site in Lakeland, FL.

The Publix Accounting Automation & AI Team tackles challenges in automating complex processes and creating AI agents for repetitive tasks. As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with enterprise teams to evaluate business processes, assess system and automation requirements, and work with developers to design innovative solutions.

The Publix Accounting Automation & AI Team tackles challenges in automating complex processes and creating AI agents for repetitive tasks. As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with enterprise teams to evaluate business processes, assess system and automation requirements, and work with developers to design innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and gather requirements for enterprise technology solutions, focusing on workflow efficiency, regulatory compliance, and process improvement.
- Lead and participate in application requirements meetings using Agile and traditional methodologies.
- Create comprehensive documentation for business workflows, system requirements, and desired outcomes.
- Mentor analysts on best practices for business and system process analysis.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for system validation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in a business systems analysis role.
- 5+ years managing solution delivery in large-scale distributed environments.
- 3+ years with enterprise database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Knowledge of Automation and AI methods (Robotic Process Automation, Agentic AI, Machine Learning).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in Agile environments using Azure DevOps.
- 9+ years in business systems analysis experience.
- 9+ years planning, organizing, and managing solution delivery in large-scale distributed environments.
- 9+ years leading implementation solutions, addressing bottlenecks, and managing timelines.
- Knowledge of modern cloud infrastructures (Azure, Google).
- Experience in data analysis, including creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings.
- Experience in project and problem management, change management, and other systems development processes.
- Skilled in supporting data and process governance for accounting system compliance with company policies, standards, and SOX requirements.
