Job Role: NOC Technician (Junior Role)

Location: Dallas, TX / Kansas City, KS (Onsite, 5 Days a Week)
Shift: Night Shift (10-hour shifts)

About the Role

We're looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our team in a hands-on, operational support role. This position is ideal for someone with 2 5 years of experience in telecom or network operations who thrives in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. You'll be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining telecom and messaging platforms, ensuring network stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 network monitoring, ticket handling, and troubleshooting to maintain system stability.
  • Monitor KPIs, alarms, and system performance; escalate issues as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-deployment validations to ensure successful upgrades.
  • Respond to alerts from tools like One Console, Splunk, OpenSearch, NetScout, and CyberArk.
  • Collaborate with deployment teams (e.g., NCI/ATAC) to resolve service-impacting issues.
  • Coordinate critical maintenance and break-fix activities with internal teams and vendors.
  • Participate in outage resolution and degradation troubleshooting sessions.
Technical Skills & Experience
  • 2 5 years of experience in telecom or network operations.
  • Familiarity with Mavenir IMS access/core products (TAS/CSCF, BGCF, MRF, SBC) and/or Ericsson IMS access products (Cloud Native SBG/BGF).
  • Strong understanding of core networking protocols and diagnostic tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and network database tools.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
Work Schedule
  • Night shift (10-hour shifts)
  • Must be available for urgent troubleshooting and outage resolution outside regular hours
