Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This Contract to permanent role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to the design, management, and optimization of a multi-location network and telecommunications infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless connectivity, robust security, and efficient operations while providing top-tier support to end-users.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain network connectivity across multiple locations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, coordinating with external vendors for repairs or replacements as needed.
Evaluate and implement solutions to enhance network security, resilience, and cost efficiency.
Deliver Tier 3 support for IT and telephony networks, adhering to established service level agreements.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software to meet organizational needs.
Manage user access rights and maintain network security to ensure authorized usage only.
Oversee server backups and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data.
Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements for all deployed applications.
Contribute to the development and documentation of network management policies and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, providing timely assistance to end-users.
Requirements
Proven expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Meraki).
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Server environments, Office 365, and Active Directory.
Strong knowledge of storage area networks (SAN) and Hyper-V virtualization.
Familiarity with backup systems (e.g., Unitrends) and cloud disaster recovery solutions.
Experience with telecommunications systems, such as RingCentral and dedicated internet access.
Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA) or equivalent relevant experience.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
