Role: Axiom Developer

Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 months contract

Top Skills & Experience Required:

• 8 10 years of overall IT experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Axiom Controller View.
• Strong expertise in regulatory and risk reporting modules such as:
  • Prime Reports
  • CCAR
  • SCCL
  • FR2052a
• Experience with financial data and regulatory reporting.
• Proficiency in building Axiom components:
  • Data Sources
  • Data Models
  • Shorthands
  • Portfolios
  • Aggregations
  • Data mapping activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and configure various Axiom objects and workflows.
• Implement and maintain free-form and tabular reports within Axiom.
• Automate workflows using Axiom Controller View.
• Work on APAC taxonomy reports (e.g., Singapore, Australia) and EMEA regulatory reports.
• Familiarity with US regulatory reports is a plus (e.g., FFIEC031, FFIEC041, FFIEC009).
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders; strong communication skills required.
• Review and interpret BRD, FSD, and solution design documentation independently.
• Develop and maintain ETL jobs, Shell scripts, and technical specifications.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL and other database code for data sourcing into Axiom.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to internal standards.
• Conduct performance tuning at both Axiom and database levels.
• Create and execute unit test cases for developed components.
• Manage environment migrations for Axiom components.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and users to understand functional requirements and build reports accordingly.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to Data Warehousing concepts.
• Previous experience working in Regulatory Reporting teams in financial institutions.
