Desktop Technician II
Location: Tulsa, OK
(Position is On-Site in Tulsa, OK. If not willing to relocate, please do not apply.)
Position Summary
The Desktop Technician II is a key member of the IT Depot Team, responsible for preparing and deploying computer devices to end users. This role ensures timely and accurate configuration, coordination, and shipment of IT equipment, supporting the broader IT onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure computer devices for deployment using standard imaging and setup procedures.
- Update and maintain records in the Service Management platform.
- Coordinate with the IT onboarding team to manage logistics and ensure timely shipment of devices to end users.
- Utilize Microsoft Intune and Active Directory to manage devices and user profiles.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues as needed.
Qualifications
- No specific certifications required; CompTIA A+ or similar certifications are a plus.
- 1 2 years of experience in a desktop support or IT technician role preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Technical aptitude with familiarity in Windows 11 operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Active Directory is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
