Device Tester with Selenium

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in device testing and Selenium automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of applications across multiple device types (mobile, tablet, web-enabled devices) while contributing to the automation framework and execution of test cases using Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for device-based applications (mobile, tablet, smart devices).
• Conduct manual and automated testing across different platforms, operating systems, and screen resolutions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java, Python, or similar languages).
• Validate device interoperability, responsiveness, performance, and UI consistency.
• Perform regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing for new and existing features.
• Identify, document, and track bugs; collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating test scripts into automated workflows.
• Work with cross-functional teams (development, product, UX) to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Maintain documentation related to test plans, test execution, and quality metrics.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in QA or software testing, with at least 2 years in device testing.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Proficient in test scripting using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools (e.g., Appium, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Working knowledge of REST API testing (using Postman, REST Assured, etc.) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
