New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is actively seeking an Electrician for a 3-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion.

Compensation: $44.00 per hour

Job Description:
The main function of an electrician is to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. A typical electrician is responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining or repairing electrical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair lighting issues. ballast, bulbs, drivers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Replace light bulbs, ballasts, drivers, and LED Diodes
• Work Proficiently with 12V-480V
• Trouble shoot Control Panels for HVAC, Plumbing and Lighting
• Program Lighting Control Panels & Timers
• Assist in power outages
• Replace Conduit, wiring, etc.
• Clean and maintain equipment exteriors and surrounding areas
• Conduct visual inspections and report abnormalities to supervisor
• Assist other trades in troubleshooting for HVAC and dock doors.
  Maintain organized supply closets and tool carts
• Document completed tasks in maintenance logs
• Perform basic grounds maintenance (sweeping, debris removal)

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electrical License
• 480v experience
• Ability to use Digital Multimeter
• Understand control circuits
• Ability to trace and diagnose wiring issues
• Ability to read schematics
• Experience with aerial/scissor lifts
