Job Details

Title: Sr. Director of ERP Applications - This team is responsible for JDE/Oracle Fusion as well as the Kronos UKG timekeeping systems.  
Employment Type: Contract to Hire, 6months
Location: Brentwood, TN - Onsite Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Remote Wednesday/Friday
Compensation: 72/hr, 143k upon conversion 
Must Have Experience: 
  • 1. Supervisory Experience: Be willing/able to hold people accountable and instill a sense of urgency. Will be over a team of 9.
  • 2. Project Management: focus on projects that are in flight; making sure that they will be delivered on time and under budget in order to hit SLAs. Will also create presentations and be forward thinking while navigating a 3-5 year migration to Fusion.  This will include interacting heavily with a 3rd party partner that is running the migration project.
  • 3. Technical Acumen with JDE/Oracle Fusion environments. 
 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The incumbent should be able to perform the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements.
 
  • Works closely with business and technical leadership, serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage ERP initiatives to meet organizational goals.  Provides direction to ERP Business Analysts who are aligned and integrated with stakeholder departments.
  • Maintains relationships with stakeholder departments and ensures all deliverables and support is provided in the context of assisting stakeholders in meeting their business goals.  Leads the ERP Steering Committee responsible for driving the end-to-end solution roadmap, facilitating business case development and coordinating project prioritization.
  • Responsible for efficient and effective ERP development including quality, testing, audit, change control and customer satisfaction elements.
  • Responsible for enabling new functionality, implementing system upgrades and data conversions, as well as providing batch and real-time integration between the ERP and third-party sources. 
  • Adheres to and manages regulatory (e.g., Sarbanes Oxley) and policy compliance processes around the ERP application suite in addition to maintaining contractual and information security best practice requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53).
  • Responsible for ensuring present and future resource planning needs are met including vendor management, staffing, outside consultants, software, hardware, and budgeting, in addition to keeping current on advances and trends in ERP management.
  • Supervises staff in the performance of their duties and evaluates as prescribed by company policy.  This includes but is not limited to: training new employees, evaluating performance and preparing written performance appraisals, providing talent development, setting and monitoring goals, listening to concerns and effectively resolving disputes or issues, taking corrective or disciplinary action, developing work schedules for staff and approval leave requests.
  • Responsible for leading resolution of escalated issues and risks in a timely manner by driving resolution of escalated issues, including but not limited to, guiding team, reviewing/communicating alternatives, including advantages, disadvantages and recommendations.
