Job Description:
We are looking for a ServiceNow Architect with 10-15 years of experience to join our team in Texas. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its associated software engines and modules. This role involves developing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of IT and other departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and architect ServiceNow based solutions including integration with third party applications.
2. Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules, Discovery, Service Mapping, Orchestration, PPM, Demand Management.
3. Develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
4. Ensure best practices are followed during systems design and build.
5. Monitor and manage the performance and capacity of the ServiceNow system.
6. Collaborate with ITSM process owners to design ServiceNow based solutions.
7. Participate in all technical aspects of the ServiceNow program and solution delivery using agile software development methodologies.
8. Develop a deep understanding of the current architectural design, program and system landscape to ensure the successful implementation of ServiceNow.
Requirements:
1. 10-15 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect.
2. Strong knowledge of ITSM processes.
3. Experience in DevOps and Agile methodologies.
4. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, and Certified System Administrator are desirable.
5. Experience in implementing, configuring and customizing ServiceNow ITSM modules.
6. Experience in designing and implementing integrations with ServiceNow using MID Server, JDBC and ODBC, Web Services, JMS, Email and other relevant technologies.
7. Understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and limitations and can clearly communicate those to customers.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients, IT management, and staff.
