Job Title: Business Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid - Juno Beach, FL or Coral Gables, FL

Department: Customer Information Systems (CIS)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5+ years required; 8+ years preferred)
Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our CIS team, the backbone of many customer programs. This role is pivotal in supporting the complete rebuild of our customer service billing and program administration stack. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making across business units.

This position is hybrid, with flexibility to work from either our Juno Beach or Coral Gables office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead medium to large-scale operational analysis projects that support strategic initiatives.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Review and approve analytical findings for presentation to senior leadership.
  • Conduct statistical analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure accurate integration into Salesforce and other platforms.
  • Support data consolidation efforts for downstream teams including Marketing & Communications, Finance, and Customer Service.
  • Drive use case development for filings with the Public Service Commission and other regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to transform and deliver Salesforce data through a modern data platform.
  • Work within an AWS-based data stack, including Redshift, to manage and analyze large volumes of data.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; 8+ years strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading analytical projects and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, AWS Redshift).
  • Experience working with Salesforce data and understanding its business applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with non-traditional SDLC approaches and agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in utility or energy sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of customer billing systems and program administration.
  • Understanding of regulatory filings and data requirements for public service commissions.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical data requirements.
