Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role requires leveraging a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Build data pipelines using big-data stack technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, and Python.
• Work with Amazon AWS S3 for object storage, security, and data service integration.
• Perform data modeling and database design.
• Utilize job schedulers like Autosys for workflow automation.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using PowerBI and Dremio.
• Write Unix/shell scripts and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply logic to transform data and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members to design and model data effectively.
• Automate processes using Spark, Python, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Provide technical solutions and resolve moderately complex issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong understanding and implementation of Autosys.
• Fundamental background in database design (e.g., MySQL or any standard database).
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform cloud data engineering is a plus.
• Financial services experience is a plus but not required.
• Proactive and accountable with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to describe technical work experience and thought process for problem-solving.

Pay Range: $53 - $60

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
