This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.
Role Overview
The Fullstack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end software solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to create systems that drive mission success.
Primary Duties
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of software applications.
- Design and implement APIs, including REST architectures.
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage databases.
- Work with TypeScript or JavaScript in a Node.js environment, leveraging frameworks such as Express.
- Analyze system requirements to ensure solutions consider architecture, current environment, and future enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning and peer code reviews.
- Continuously explore and adopt new tools, technologies, and techniques to improve system performance and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Proven expertise in back-end development.
- Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js runtime environment and Express framework.
- Strong knowledge of SQL syntax and query writing.
- Expertise in API development, particularly with REST architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- TS/SCI clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing backend software applications or services.
- 2+ years of experience working within a microservices architecture.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React and Next.js.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks and code quality tools, including Jest and SonarQube.
- Experience implementing user authentication workflows, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as Sequelize.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Git, and GitLab.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Ability to understand and translate user requirements into actionable solutions.
- DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
