Long Term Contract - 6 months to start.
Summary:
This team is responsible for designing the user experience for all IT products that are delivered to our customers, business associates, and consumers. This role requires a strong foundation in UX methodologies along with what makes a usable and engaging experience that drives conversion.
Duties:
* Analyze the competitive landscape to identify areas of opportunity across all our clients' brands & present those findings/recommendations to business stakeholders; Additionally, this role requires someone who strategically uses data to prioritize true UX competitive audit
* The recommendations you will provide will be more than usability; You will be looking at how well our client does in merchandising across brands; These areas include merchandising, product taxonomy, photography, product copy, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience - open to someone coming from UX Design, UX Research
* Experience providing design mockups of audit recommendations & presenting findings to executive teams
* Strong UX knowledge and perspective; Ability to assess website's user experience
* Design of balance/analytical side/comfortable to learn analytics tool / more importantly - very comfortable in PowerPoint
* Deep understanding of ecommerce UX best practices to drive customer acquisition, retention, and conversion across devices
* Understand what's a needle mover in ecommerce vs a violation of usability principal (i.e. ecommerce drivers, rather than just UX drivers)
* Expert in analyzing merchandising strategies, product taxonomy, photography, and copy personalization, and next-gen interface patterns
* Strategic thinking and storytelling skills to synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations
* Ability to be strategic and tactical (see forest vs. the trees)
