Role: Business Analyst with K-12 Environment and Technical Writing Experience - Process Management
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: 100 % Remote
We have an opportunity for Business Analyst for our Process Management Department. Analysts will support district-wide project implementation and process management for projects. Ideally, this candidate will have experience in a K-12 environment with technical writing skills. This opportunity is currently slated for a 12-month contract, working remotely M-F (at 40 hrs./week), and reporting onsite to our Client Main Administrative Center as requested for meetings and other work. Our Administrative Center is located at 6201 Powers Ferry Rd, Atlanta, 30339.

Responsibilities
- Gather requirements by interviewing business stakeholders
- Develop relationships with business partners
- Create effective collaboration among stakeholders
- Conduct business process analysis
- Break down high-level information into details and low-level information into digestible information for general users.
- Collaborate with business partners to develop/document business scenarios.
- Generate business process flows and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Organize and facilitate requirements sessions
- Work cross-functionally to determine business process relationships
- Managing and tracking project tasks
- Propose data-driven solutions to maximize production and efficiency
- Document business analysis findings
- Set efficient processes for creating and managing business analysis/project artifacts
Required Expertise, Capabilities and Proven Experience
- Senior level resource with 8 plus years as a Business Analyst
- Organizational and facilitation skills must be able to set expectations, manage agendas, garner audience participation, and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to follow direction from PMD/PMO Directors and Project Managers
- Critical thinking skills evaluate information gathered from different sources.
- Analytical skills ability to translate business needs and into requirements, workflows, etc.
- Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while prioritizing and managing customer expectations.
- Excellent communication & presentations skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with enterprise level implementations
- Technical skills - proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Visio, etc.
