Top Skills & Years of Experience:

- 4+ years of Database administration specifically on SQL Server 16 and upwards

- Expertise in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions

- Experience with Transparent Data Encryption within SQL Server

- Over 2+ years of experience creating, updating and maintaining systems documentation

Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams with the possibility of 2nd round interviews being held IN PERSON at the Dimondale, MI office. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate.

Duration: 1 year with possible extension.

Remote or On-site: Accepting local candidates within a 90-minute drive of Lansing, MI ONLY. Position will be hybrid, in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option.

Core Responsibilities:

? Database Management: Installing, configuring, and upgrading SQL Server database

systems.

? Performance Optimization: Tuning database performance, optimizing queries, and managing indexes.

? Security: Managing user access, permissions, and implementing security policies.

? Backup and Recovery: Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies

for data protection.

? Monitoring: Monitoring database health, performance, and availability.

? Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues.

Collaboration: Working with developers and other IT professionals to support database needs.
