Job Title: SDET Engineer
Location: Reston, VA (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract


Job Description:

We are looking for a SDET Engineer with expertise in JMeter, Java, and Python, focused on performance & functionality testing and data comparison. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in JMeter for performance testing, test automation, and customizing test scripts using development tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct performance and functionality testing using JMeter and related frameworks.
  • Develop and customize automation test scripts in Java and Python.
  • Work with JMeter APIs and Java-based libraries for test automation enhancements.
  • Utilize tools like LoadRunner, JMeter-API, and other performance testing frameworks.
  • Perform data validation and comparison to ensure test accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support test environments on AWS, optimizing for 60% Python, 40% Java
  • Implement BDD/TDD methodologies to enhance test-driven development processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to refine testing strategies and automation frameworks.


Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing.
  • Strong Java and Python programming skills for test script development.
  • Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter-API, and other testing tools.
  • Ability to perform data validation and comparison within test solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in an AWS-based testing environment.
  • Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for test reporting and team collaboration.
