Senior Full Stack Developer - Richmond, VA or McLean, VA (Hybrid)
We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in modern web development, specializing in Vue.js and Node.js, to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is a contract position with a hybrid work arrangement in either Richmond, VA or McLean, VA. You ll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, high-quality web applications using Vue.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support various business needs
- Leverage AWS services to deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in the cloud environment
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver well-architected, high-performance solutions
- Apply modern development best practices including code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the stack
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency with Vue.js and related frontend frameworks
- Expertise with Node.js and backend architecture
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- Strong understanding of modern software development best practices (Agile, CI/CD, version control, automated testing)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Locations: Hybrid Richmond, VA or McLean, VA.
- Duration: 8 months with high possibility of extension
- Pay Rate: $50/hr on C2C basis
- Interview Process: Initial phone screen followed by video interview
