Job Description:
- As a Technical Operations Manager OSP Construction Program Manager, you will oversee outside plant (OSP) construction initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with engineering standards, and budget accountability.
- You will work across internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects are executed smoothly, driving operational excellence in network expansion and infrastructure deployment
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to engineering design plans, standards & specifications, contractual SOWs, and municipal requirements while managing transparent change control processes.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery including pipelines, budgets, scheduling, resource planning, vendor management, project dependencies, financial reporting, invoice approvals, and material management.
- Develop and maintain vendor construction schedules while monitoring performance and ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline standards.
- Provide clear communication of expectations, progress, and status updates to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Oversee seamless handoff for network acceptance by ensuring projects are fully scoped and delivered to standards.
- Operate with high autonomy to establish new program areas, converting conceptual deliverables into actionable steps, defining roles and responsibilities, and troubleshooting issues under pressure.
Experience:
- 5+ years of program/project management experience overseeing large-scale, capital-intensive technical projects, including vendor and resource management.
- Proven experience with project scheduling, capital tracking, status reporting, and vendor/contractor negotiations.
- Hands-on experience managing telecom infrastructure, FTTx operations, or OSP projects with GIS systems and FTTH records.
