This is a hands-on role working directly with injection molding machinery on the plant floor. The company is investing heavily in automation and standardization across its manufacturing operations, and this role will be central to driving those improvements.
The Role:
The Injection Molding Process Engineer will own the molding process for a high-volume manufacturing site, setting and standardizing process parameters, recommending tooling and auxiliary equipment upgrades, and improving automation. You'll train techs, improve documentation, and influence capital projects related to injection molding.

- Define and optimize injection molding processes for multiple machines.
- Develop automation strategies and standardized work instructions.
- Troubleshoot and improve molding performance using data-driven methods.
- Recommend and evaluate tooling and supporting equipment.
- Support and train Process Technicians in setup and operation.
- Help implement preventative maintenance protocols for molding equipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 7-10 years of injection molding experience, ideally with on-the-floor exposure.
- Strong understanding of machine parameters, tooling, and quality systems.
- Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and automation a plus.
- Great communicator, adaptable, hands-on, and team-oriented.
