Title: Architect SAP Reporting and Analytics

Duration: Fulltime with ComTec

Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid 2 to 3 Days a week Onsite)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative SAP Reporting and Analytics Architect, with significant experience in architecting migration of reporting and analytics from SAP ECC/BW/CRM to SAP S/4. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of SAP-based reporting solutions, helping organizations turn data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture:
• Design and architect the migration of reporting and analytics from SAP ECC/BW/CRM to S/4 / datasphere / data lakes (non-SAP).
• Define strategy around what reporting and analytics scenarios will correspond to what technologies.
• Consider end user experience such as role-based security from S/4 enforced in analytics, iOS access to SAP etc.
• Design and implement comprehensive SAP reporting and analytics solutions, leveraging SAP BW (Business Warehouse), SAP Analytics Cloud, and other relevant SAP technologies.
• Define and oversee the end-to-end architecture of reporting systems, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and high performance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design custom reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using SAP tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BW/4HANA.
• Design data models and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for optimized reporting and analytics.
• Prepare technical design documents for complex projects involving custom integrations, and data migration.
• Define Architecture Principles, Patterns, Blueprints, Guidelines, and Standard Methodologies.
• Data Integration:
• Integrate data from multiple sources including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, third-party systems, and other enterprise data platforms.
• Develop and implement data pipelines and workflows for seamless data integration, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Governance & Security:
• Define and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in SAP reporting systems.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and other security measures to protect sensitive data.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
• 5+ years of experience as a SAP Reporting/Data Architect.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with analytics and reporting platforms.
• Must have experience creating technology roadmaps and reference architectures for SAP reporting and analytics.
• Expertise in data modeling, metadata systems, BI tools, data integration, and database technologies for both on-premise and cloud-based deployments.
• Experience with data lakes, data warehousing, and analytics for large-scale environments.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques (ETL/ELT processes).
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP reporting and analytics architectures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• SAP Certification in relevant reporting/analytics tools is a plus.
