Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager III to join our team in Skaneateles, New York. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in the development of innovative solutions within the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management, regulatory compliance, and collaborative problem-solving across diverse product lines.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and management of complex engineering projects while adhering to established timelines and budgets.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including regulatory, risk management, quality assurance, technical communication, supplier quality, and other departments.
Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and quality management standards throughout the product development process.
Manage the financial aspects of projects, including capital expenditures and team expenses.
Identify challenges and implement creative solutions to address project obstacles and roadblocks.
Apply engineering principles to develop innovative designs and ensure the success of product development initiatives.
Utilize project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile frameworks and Gantt charts, to streamline workflows.
Maintain detailed documentation and labeling to meet regulatory and quality standards.
Foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Monitor industry trends and adapt processes to align with evolving standards and practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
8-10 years of project management experience, specifically within the medical device sector.
2-5 years of experience managing teams in a matrix organizational structure.
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles related to medical device design and development.
Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical and organizational challenges.
Excellent communication skills to convey ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in guiding cross-functional teams toward achieving objectives.
