About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our enterprise engineering team, supporting large-scale application deployment and automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), automation scripting, and container orchestration. This role requires hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices to improve software delivery efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline application delivery and support release management.
Manage source control repositories (Git), branching strategies, and version control workflows.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security.
Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies.
Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) standards and best practices are followed.
Support incident response and post-mortem analysis for production systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of IT experience with 4+ years in DevOps roles.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure automation tools.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking, and security fundamentals.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, or EKS).
Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Strong understanding of monitoring tools and system observability.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Helm charts, Istio, or service mesh architecture.
Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
Exposure to microservices architecture and API gateways.
Familiarity with security automation, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps principles.
Experience integrating DevOps pipelines with QA automation frameworks.
