About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support services under a managed service contract. This role is central to ensuring excellence in service delivery, performance reporting, and customer experience across a high-impact federal program.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and operations of a managed services contract delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support.
- Apply project management best practices and methodologies throughout all phases of service delivery.
- Monitor service levels and ensure adherence to approved policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Supervise a team of 20+ technical staff (50+ preferred), ensuring workflow efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage schedules, forecasting, issue escalation, resourcing, and deliverables tracking across the contract.
- Serve as the primary administrative and functional point of contact for project stakeholders, including OCIO federal staff and contractor leadership.
- Lead regular reporting, dashboard reviews, and performance improvement plans using ServiceNow ITSM.
- Ensure alignment with ITIL-based practices and compliance with contract SLAs.
Required Qualifications
- ITIL v4 Foundations Certification (required)
- PMP certification (or equivalent advanced project management certification or demonstrable experience)
- Experience managing a team of 20 or more technical support staff; 50+ preferred
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and performance dashboards
- Proven ability to manage projects in a federal government contracting environment
- Strong understanding of IT SLAs and performance metrics
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Track record of excellent customer relationship management skills, especially in high visibility and high complexity federal agency settings
