Job Details
Core Technical Skills:
- SQL Mastery:Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, including DDL, DML, DCL, and TCL statements. Strong understanding of database objects like tables, views, indexes, sequences, and synonyms.
- PL/SQL Expertise:In-depth knowledge of PL/SQL syntax, blocks, data types, control structures (loops, conditional statements), exception handling, and packages. Ability to design, develop, and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Database Design & Management:Understanding of database concepts like normalization, ER diagrams, constraints, and ACID properties. Experience in designing database schemas and managing database objects.
- Performance Tuning:Ability to identify and resolve database performance issues, including SQL query tuning, PL/SQL code optimization, and utilizing tools like SQL Tuning Advisor or ADDM.
- Oracle Database Knowledge:Familiarity with Oracle database architecture, tools (e.g., SQL Developer, TOAD), and associated utilities.
- Operating System Basics:Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting for interacting with the database environment.
