Job Description

Title - Oracle WACS Integration Lead
Location: Hybrid - San Antonio, Texas (3-4 days/week onsite)

We are seeking an experienced WACS Integration Lead Release 3 to spearhead the integration design, development, and deployment efforts for the Oracle Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS), Oracle Field Service (OFS), and related systems as part of the third release of a multi-phase Oracle Cloud transformation program. This role is pivotal in ensuring end-to-end data flow, event orchestration, and process continuity across enterprise asset management and field operations.

The Integration Lead will collaborate with enterprise architects, functional consultants, and technical development teams to ensure all integration solutions are scalable, compliant with Oracle Cloud standards, and aligned with the operational needs of a utility environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration Design & Development:
    • Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions connecting WACS, OFS, Oracle Cloud ERP, GIS, and legacy systems.
    • Define end-to-end integration architecture, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP APIs.
    • Develop and document data flows and orchestration logic to ensure seamless interaction between asset, work, and field service processes.
  • Cross-System Data Synchronization:
    • Map and synchronize master and transactional data across platforms (e.g., assets, work orders, service requests, scheduling events).
    • Ensure consistency and data integrity between systems such as GIS, legacy EAM, and Oracle Cloud modules.
  • Solution Architecture Alignment:
    • Align integration strategy with overall enterprise and application architecture principles.
    • Collaborate with architecture teams to validate technical designs and integration touchpoints.
  • Project Leadership & Coordination:
    • Manage technical integration teams through all phases: design, development, testing, and deployment.
    • Maintain traceability of integration requirements, technical specifications, and test results.
    • Coordinate across PMO, functional leads, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely delivery of integration milestones.
  • Quality Assurance & Documentation:
    • Establish integration testing protocols including unit, system, and end-to-end test cases.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of interfaces, mapping rules, transformation logic, and exception handling procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Oracle Cloud Integration Expertise (Required): Deep experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), prebuilt adapters, integration patterns (synchronoasynchronous), and Oracle Cloud ERP APIs.
  • Utilities Domain Knowledge: Understanding of asset lifecycle, work order execution, crew dispatch, and field service management in electric, water, or gas utilities.
  • Integration Architecture: Experience defining scalable integration flows across multiple platforms, including real-time and batch-oriented processes.
  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in delivering complex integration solutions in multi-phase enterprise programs.
  • Data & Event Mapping: Advanced ability to map and transform data across systems and manage event-driven workflows that support business continuity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle WACS and Oracle Field Service configuration and data models.
  • Familiarity with GIS systems (e.g., Esri) and their integration with work and asset management platforms.
  • Prior experience in a utility modernization or digital transformation program.
  • Knowledge of data governance, API management, and integration testing tools.
