Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team supporting business collaboration applications. You will work alongside senior engineers and product teams to help maintain system reliability, build automation tools, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day support and maintenance of internal business collaboration tools and applications.
• Help monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development, testing, and deployment.
• Learn to develop user-friendly internal tools for automation and data visualization.
• Participate in on-call rotations (with guidance and support).
• Document processes, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in systems, tools, and operational processes.

Skills and Technologies:

• You are not expected to know all of these we value a strong willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, .NET, or Scala)
• Understanding of Linux-based systems and basic networking concepts
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Splunk)
• Interest in DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform), and cloud technologies
• Awareness of containerization concepts (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
