RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Site Manager (Biomedical Technician) in Ukiah, CA.

The Biomedical Site Manager will be responsible for the effective use of communications and technical knowledge to install, and customer relationship management. We prioritize highlighting that this role is dedicated to a specific hospital system (eliminating excessive travel). Additionally, this position offers overtime and annual bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and paid volunteer days.
This role requires a thorough understanding of the customer's contractual requirements. It involves overseeing daily biomedical operations for designated accounts, including the coordination and supervision of external vendors and subcontractors. Acting as the facility's Biomedical Manager, the individual ensures compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, manages service contracts, and monitors performance outcomes.
This position also includes participation in various hospital committees-such as safety, equipment selection, and facility planning-as requested by the client. Additionally, the Biomedical Site Manager serves as a technical consultant during departmental meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in a hospital or clinical environment
* 2+ years of experience in a site management or supervisory role
* Formal education in biomedical engineering, military technical training, or certification through AAMI
* Proven expertise in supporting a wide range of medical devices, including patient monitoring systems, ventilators, and infusion pumps
* Full-time, on-site availability (5 days per week)
* Skilled in the use of mechanical devices, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of staff and clientele
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and work cohesively within multidisciplinary teams
* Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to knowledge sharing and achieving collective goals
* Recognized leadership capabilities and a track record of guiding teams toward successful outcomes

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
