Need Application Security Engineer - Fort Worth, TX

Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, triage, and remediate vulnerabilities such as injection flaws, insecure deserialization, and misconfigurations.
  Integrate and manage SAST/DAST tools within CI/CD pipelines.
  Collaborate with development teams to resolve vulnerabilities and enforce secure coding standards.
  Design and implement guardrails for AI-powered applications to mitigate attacks like prompt injection and data poisoning.
  Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CloudBees, Buddy, or UrbanCode.
  Develop automation solutions using Python, Java, or PowerShell.
  Implement and manage GitHub Advanced Security features and DevOps automation.
  Work with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other automation tools.
  Collaborate in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps.
  Mentor junior engineers and promote security best practices across teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in application security or software engineering with a security focus.
  Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#.
  3+ years of experience developing automation solutions using Python, Java, or PowerShell.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools (Veracode, GitHub, etc.).
  Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25 vulnerabilities.
  CompTIA Security+ certification (mandatory).
  Experience with AI security, cloud-native security (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), and container security.
  Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or GIAC are a plus.
