Job Details
Job Title: Full-stack/Nodejs Developer
Location: Plano, TX/ Dallas, TX
Face to face interview required
Job Type: 12+ months Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
- Design scalable system architecture and backend workflows.
- Integrate external APIs, databases, and internal services.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
- Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Debug, monitor, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and agile processes.
- Migrate or integrate legacy Java-based services with Node.js-based systems as needed.
Requirements:
- 8 years of backend development experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Node.js and Java (preferably Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript (optional but preferred), and Java.
- Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, and API design principles.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing tools and frameworks
