Role overview
- Acting as a product owner - assisting with the definition and communication of a clear product vision and strategy for the notifications platform that aligns with overall business goals and enhances user experience.
- Owning the notifications experience, including roadmap, backlog, and feature prioritization.
- Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, customer support, and other stakeholders to design and implement efficient, scalable, and personalized communications.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to test and iterate on message delivery timing, channels, and content to improve engagement metrics.
- Analyzing and understanding interdependencies, business risks, and risk mitigators that could impact or be impacted by the delivery of new products and services.
- Driving A/B testing and experimentation for communication strategies and messaging effectiveness.
- Monitoring performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and churn impact, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience: Business Operations Analysis experience: 3 years or more; Telecommunications and/or experience with technology/software products: 3 years or more.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
- Technical skills: Personal computer and software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.); Notification delivery systems (e.g., Pinpoint, Firebase, Skycreek, Twilio, etc).
- Skills: Analyze and synthesize complex data; Project management.
- Abilities: Quickly identify business problems & opportunities; communicate effectively orally and in writing; define key performance indicators/metrics; manage multiple projects simultaneously; document, prepare, and present data-driven presentations; make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure; partner with internal and external stakeholders, including vendor relationships.
- Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word. 0 - 2 years of experience.
