As an Electrical and Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and enhancing machine control solutions.

Description: Our client, a regional metal casting manufacturer is looking for an Electrical and Control Engineer.
As an Electrical and Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and enhancing machine control solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and Modification:
- Create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, as well as panel layouts.
- Develop and modify machine control systems, including robotic platforms.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other automation controls.
- Collaboration:
- Participate in specification reviews, drawing assessments, and factory run-offs.
- Work closely with customers to support machinery installation and commissioning.
- Team Support:
- Mentor entry-level Electrical/Controls Technicians to ensure accurate work and timely project completion.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs, including RS Logix.
- Familiarity with precision industrial automation machinery using hydraulic and pneumatic actuators.
- Skilled in creating electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD.
- Experience with electrical distribution, motor controls, variable frequency drives, servo controls, and pneumatic/hydraulic circuits.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Fanuc robots.
- Willingness to travel primarily within North America (travel durations may extend up to 2 weeks).
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial machine building and field service.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in related disciplines (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electrical Controls Engineering, Engineering Technology) or equivalent technical experience.
- Previous experience with an equipment manufacturer is advantageous.
