LaSalle Network is partnering with a forward-thinking organization in Rosemont, IL, embarking on a large-scale digital transformation. We're seeking a Business Analyst for the "Velocity Project," a cutting-edge initiative to migrate a legacy on-prem application to a cloud-based environment. This is a hybrid contract role requiring onsite presence 1-2 times per week, ideal for candidates with strong ETL and SQL experience who thrive in fast-paced, data-driven settings.


Business Analyst - Velocity Project Responsibilities:




  • Analyze and document data flows and system integrations during cloud migration




  • Conduct gap analyses and validate large datasets to ensure data accuracy




  • Define and document transformation logic and ETL processes




  • Liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders to clarify requirements




  • Develop and maintain process maps, data dictionaries, and technical documentation




  • Participate in system testing, ensuring smooth data transitions




  • Translate complex data findings into actionable business insights




Business Analyst - Velocity Project Requirements:




  • 2-4 years in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role




  • Proficiency in ETL tools like Informatica or SSIS




  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills in an Oracle environment




  • Experience with data scripting or programming (1+ year)




  • Strong written and verbal communication; skilled at translating technical data to non-technical audiences




  • Detail-oriented with experience handling large datasets and comparative analysis




Nice to Have:




  • Background in cloud migration or data transformation projects




  • Familiarity with Oracle applications




  • Experience in regulated or logistics industries
