Hiring Service Desk Engineer – Level 1
Industry: MSP
Location: Tampa (Carrollwood Area) onsite M-F, 1st shift hours
Duration: 6 month contract, chance for extensions
Pay: $25/hr (40-45 hrs/week)

Requirements:
- Prior MSP or multi-tenant help desk experience
- Microsoft 365 admin basics
- Windows 10/11 support
- Experience using PSA/ticketing systems (ConnectWise/ServiceNow/Kaseya)
- Imaging (Autopilot or SCCM or similar)
- On-prem Active Directory user/admin basics
- Basic networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN awareness)
- Hardware/peripheral troubleshooting
- Intune/Autopilot exposure
- Entra ID fundamentals
- PowerShell for simple tasks
- Azure fundamentals
- Provide first-contact IT support to MSP clients via phone/email/portal
- Triage and resolve common issues (Microsoft 365, workstation, printers, peripherals, VPN)
- Perform password resets/account unlocks, new user onboarding (mailbox/Teams/SharePoint access)
- Intune enrollments
- Workstation imaging & software installs
- Basic network troubleshooting (DNS/DHCP/connectivity)
- Document work in ticketing system
- Meet SLAs, communicate status updates, and escalate appropriately to L2/L3.
- Assist onsite as needed and maintain meticulous documentation.
