About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with 5 years of proven expertise in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into actionable insights, enabling informed business decisions and driving organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.)

  • Perform exploratory and advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance) to provide data-driven recommendations

  • Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate structured and unstructured data

  • Conduct root cause analysis to support strategic initiatives and optimize processes

  • Automate recurring reports and improve existing reporting frameworks

  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance with security standards

  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, optimization)

  • Experience with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker

  • Proficiency in Python/R for data analysis and automation

  • Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA preferred)

  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Experience in working with large datasets in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform preferred)

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to machine learning techniques for predictive analytics

  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and hypothesis testing

  • Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop)

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
